Your Membership Account and Your Public Profile

We reserve the right to:

delete your account at any time if we deem the content written in your public profile to be in any way inappropriate or defamatory
delete your account if you abuse the use of any of the website's features
remove photos which we consider to be unsuitable in any way
edit the wording on your profile to correct any mispellings (to aid in optimising search results)
remove any personal contact details or links to personal websites or third party websites which we consider to be of an unsavoury nature
remove comments on the feedback section which we consider to be inappropriate or abusive

Your Privacy and Safety

For your privacy and safety, we do not permit personal details to be included in your public profile. This includes URLs to personal websites which contain personal details, phone numbers, email addresses, street addresses and surnames. We reserve the right to remove this type of information from your public profile without advising you and without your consent.

Making Your Profile Private

If you have found a job as a child carer, or you have found a child carer for your family, you can hide your profile from public view but keep your account open for future use. If you need the service again in the future, you will not need to sign up again. Accounts are automatically deleted after 6 months of inactivity. You can log in to your account periodically to prevent your account from being deleted. To make your profile private, log in to your account, click on My Account, go to the bottom of the page and tick "make profile private".

Deleting Your Account

If you do not wish to continue with the service or have a future need for the service, you can delete your account by logging in and clicking on My Account. Go to the delete account link at the bottom of the page. All your details will be deleted from the database and will not be retrievable for future use. We recommend you only delete your account if you believe you will not have a need for future use of this service.

Selection Process

We are not an agency, and as such, we do not vet or check the integrity and honesty of Child Care Provider members nor Parent/Guardian members. Parent/Guardian members of the site are solely responsible for the selection process of Child Care Provider members, and Child Care Provider members are solely responsible for the selection process of Parent/Guardian members.

Uploaded Credentials

Parent/Guardian members can make use of the Credentials Upload feature to request sighting of Child Care Provider supporting documentation. We are neither responsible for the nature of, nor the accuracy of the information contained within uploaded documentation. We do not check uploaded documentation and are not responsible for its content or any damage or other harmful effect as a result of downloading and opening the documentation. Any decisions made as a result of the use of the Credentials Upload feature are the sole responsibility of the Parent/Guardian member. Child Care providers who make use of the Credentials Upload feature accept that they are solely responsible for the release of the information contained within the documentation to Parent/Guardian members. Parent and Guardian members who make use of the Credentials Upload feature agree to treat all Child Care member documentation downloaded as confidential. Parent/Guardian members are not permitted to reveal any information whatsoever contained within to any third party, either in hard copy or electronic format.

Special Offers/Promotions

From time to time, we provide discounts and special offers to promote our service. We reserve the right to change the conditions of any offer being promoted at any time.

During promotional periods, users who refer this site to contacts can take advantage of a membership upgrade for a limited period. To fully take advantage of this offer, users must submit referrals to genuine and unique email addresses. Users who submit duplicate emails or emails which bounce, will not receive a membership upgrade to their account. Likewise, existing premium members, will not receive additional time on their account. Offers apply once to each member.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds except in the case of accidental double-payments. Allow 24 hours for refund to be processed for over-payments.

The subject matter on and accessible from our website and publications is copyright.
